Basically, The pld's go in, 1 grab Aspid, 1 grab wyrm and pull to opposite corners on same side of room. 1 Whm stands in the middle and takes care of both pld's.
Startin with KB, straight zerg technique. Only having 3 DD on this should make having Whm Rdm and Sch healing more then enough.
Once KB dead, move to turtle. Sam se'ts up Sc's with anybody that has tp and blms MB. If we can get even 3 blm's MB'ing every SC, Aspid will drop very quickly.
we then move to wyrm. We need to make sure it has atleast 75% hp when we get to this part as setting up a SC and having all blm's rdm and sch MB'ing ala ks99 style. Nuke and ranged attacks while in the air and zerg once it drops down. Hopeful thinking puts tier at 10 mins tops.
Tier 2. Once we are ready, 1 pld hold KB without engaging. Just use magic/ja hate tools to tank as to avoid curse spikes. 1 Pld hold wyrm. Starting with Aspid we do same as tier 1. Wyrm next, Hopefully we can use same strat as tier 1 to bring this . Once we get to KB have Rng's and Mages only for damage side of things. Just nuke/shoot and hope for steady dmg. Coru rngs can light sc off each other for some added MB Dmg.
If evwrything goes smoothly, this may just be enough to get past tier 2. Concerns are having the right jobs/weapons for this strat. Any additional ideas? Might be way pff base but from what we've done so far, I think it's a viable option.
all the blm's for MB would be sick, i think people were saying the other day they were in the 4k+ range on mb? so thts 20k dmg on a single MB. Cupple SC's and poof, shit dies. I like the ranged dmg to as a whole, less people to heal which gives you less need for more slots on white mages. If we could get the set up with our members id be down to try it for sure. Just cause we beat it all ready one way, dosent mean there isent a MUCH better way to beat it.
I hate to say it but I still think PUP is an extremely viable option for this chamber. Hate free activate/deactivate nukes should easily allow for 1.5-2.5x the output of a good blm.
Lucky has a good PUP. Doesn't Aokii too? Rek, is yours up to date lol? I remember talking shit about how you loved yours so much a couple years ago. I'm down to try that when we come back for that Hall. Hate seemed to be the biggest issue with Turtle. Cutting time spent on that can make it more realistic to clearing a 2nd/boss wave.
Pup could easily replace some of the blms and the dd's dont have to be thf sam drk. I dont know much about the job but can pup timeMB's as easiky as blm's? That would make for big damage numbers completley hate free.
yah, i agree, played well pup is actually a really fucking good job, just no one gives it the time of day to realize it.
Having those pups being able to dual function, do physical dmg on the behemoth, nuke dmg on the aspid / wyrm, and ranged dmg while wyrm is up, really makes it a good option, agreed 100%.
